How to delete thumbnail caches in File Explorer
Follow the steps below to delete cached thumbnail images generated by File Explorer.
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog box, then enter cleanmgr.exe.
- In the Disk Cleanup, select "Thumbnails" and click OK.
After deleting the caches, press F5 in File Explorer to reload the view.
